Sichuan Opera 川剧 (PR-102) A semi-transparent earth pigment pushed to its limit. Very staunch in masstone, this is a lightish red earth that thins into an impressive flash of earthen fire. Named after southwestern Chinese opera which employs red-ochre painted masks as dramatic devices while highly trained vocalists display an irrepressible and ear-crushing tonal range that demands respect.
